A newly emerging body of work…
Leah’s glacial time-scapes/landscapes have evolved to embody a playful struggle of thought she has regarding the perspective self-important humans often have about world/land/objects around them.
The ‘plastiglomerate’, Humankind’s newest rock, is made up of melted plastics and natural materials. It has been declared the fossil record of our late human era.
Instead of bemoaning the dark side of pollution, Leah chooses to take a celebratory stance with her work.
Aspects of this body of work have been exhibited with We.United Gallery, Czech Republic from Dec 8 - 21, 2022, and with Art Gallery Studios, Mexico City, CDMX, Dec 2022 - April 2023.
